OUR STORY

Woman Future Maker Organization (WFMO) is a social, non-profit and non-governmental organization registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan since 2019. It is the first organization in Afghanistan created by women, for women. Together, WFMO and its supporters promote women’s health, professional development, and empowerment within Afghan society.
Social empowerment for Afghan women begins with educating females about their bodies and how to best care for them. As girls experience puberty, they are confronted with new physical and emotional changes. These topics remain taboo in schools, even in families, leaving girls ill-equipped to maintain physical and emotional hygiene.
Schools across Afghanistan are inviting WFMO to host Woman’s Body and Health Recognition seminars to help fill these knowledge gaps and to encourage girls and their families to have a body-positive attitude. We offer these informative, understandable, and relatable seminars during and after school hours and receive strong attendance.
